It's time to turn your blog into a PROFITABLE business. You get to decide if it's a struggling side hustle or your main source of income.

There are 3 areas to focus on to move the needle in your business and continue increasing day after day.

I was talking with a new potential 1:1 client last week on a Discovery Call. She was telling me that she felt overwhelmed and unsure of which direction to go next.

I'VE BEEN THERE.

As a blogger and business owner there are so many things to think about, remember, and try to incorporate into your business. It's easy to lose focus and start "doing" just for the sake of "doing," without really knowing what is moving the needle and driving income in your business.

I've been blogging since 2013 and have been working on consistent paid brand deals long before I even had 10k followers. I've learned a few things along the way about getting derailed, regrouping, and what to focus on to drive results in your business. 3 things to focus on to make that happen quicker.

1. serving your audience

This is *the* best way to guarantee growth in your business. Keep serving your audience. What's the easiest way to do that? Through your content! We always think about our static posts, but what about your stories? How can you educate, inform, entertain, or add value through stories?

2. new leads coming in *on autopilot*

I LOVE talking about new lead generation and growing your email list. If you haven't already, listen to this podcast about How I Grew by 100 Subscribers in One Month. Hint: it involves a freebie - one of my favorite tools!

3. consistently pursuing brand deals or making your own offers

Whether you are promoting a brand's product or service or your own, it has to be aligned with your audience. Cross-promotion? Sure. But overall, if you have two businesses, you should have two accounts/pages.

Whenever you are thinking about partnering with a brand, make sure their product/service is aligned with your audience. Think about the brand's target market, your audience's spending patterns and demographics to make an informed decision.

If you aren't consistently getting paid brand deals, you need to grab Pitches to Riches.
